Reflections of First Semester

Image
These are what I believe are the best photos I have taken this semester. This semester, I have also discovered some photographers I really like, such as Astrid Kruse Jensen. Jensen's photography is unique and slightly older for it's time. I also love Mario Tarello's contrast photography. I have learnt a lot about photography, like different techniques (filling up the frame, contrast, balance, color, space, value, birds eye view, etc.) and I can confidently say that I can take a picture on my phone without it coming out blurry. My favourite project would have to be project 4, because I really enjoyed making the kaleidoscopes. My relationship with photography has definitely changed, as I have learnt so much more about it. In Semester 2, I am really looking forward to doing the "Two Portraits" project.
