Project 13 Pre-work
Utopias are good places where people are happy and are living rich and colorful lives. Dystopias are bad places where people do not live good lives. They are often covered in shadows and portrayed as dark.

| Children | It had a train that symbolized freedom and a dog that the person was trying to get to. | It is set in a gray and unsaturated area. Everyone is the same and their freedom is restricted by a zip that replaces their mouth. |
| Here's The Plan | They were living a dream, making cupcakes, and were two cute animals who were married. When they light was shown, they were happy. | When shadows came, it showed the downside to their lives. They were poor and lost sight of their dreams when they had to work. |
| The Hunger Games | The Capitol of Panem has many people with crazy hair and elegant outfit. They all live off extravagant food and are enveloped in bright colors. | In the districts, everything is dark and there isn't a lot of color. People live in poverty and are forced to compete in the hunger games to fight for their lives. |
